Want to smuggle a mobile phone? Ask a teenager how to do it
Mark Frauenfelder has an insightful post in TheFeature.com on how high school students in NYC are sneaking mobile phones past the security gates at school. "Boys hide the phones behind belt buckles so when the metal detector whoops, they can blame it on the metal in the buckle. Girls hide them in bras and say the underwire is making the detector go off. They don't always get away with it. One 15 year old complains that his phone was confiscated after he sandwiched it between two pieces of bread and wrapped it in foil." |
