Cash Dispenser Messaging Gains Popularity in Bulgaria
Short text messaging service has been introduced after each card payment, Bulgaria's banking card operator Borika announced via the Sofia News Agency. "The new service will alert costumers after card payments to protect better the transactions, say the developers Datamax, who also maintain an electronic payment system. The system is hoped to prevent possible card forgeries, a risk that is most likely with restaurant payments. Now the customers have the opportunity to receive an SMS after the transaction even before they walk out of a restaurant, be it in Bulgaria or abroad, the system's creators say. " "DZI Bank recently launched a similar program for messaging clients upon each transaction. The special SMS will inform about the card type, the time, the amount of money and the ATM number where the transaction was made." |
