SMS textproject Stads Chromosomen book released
Yesterday, September 19th, CHIPS vzw released a booklet compiling the text messages that were sent during the SMS textproject Stads Chromosomen. For 6 months inhabitants from and visitors to the city of Antwerp, were asked to participate in writing the city's biography through SMS impressions. Now, the final book has been released under creative commons license and is available for download in PDF, plain text and a a version for iPod. By the end of next month, a complete English translation will be released. And from April 2004 until September 2004, "Stadschromosomen - beeld van een stad" (city chromosomes - image of a city) will deploy 26 textpoints build into the city of Antwerp and the 9 districts surrounding Antwerp. |
