Get your cash receipt on your mobile phone
When the cash receipt system comes into effect January 2005, consumers will be able to get receipts for their cash purchases on their mobile phones, reports Telecoms Korea. "For mobile phone identification, a special device called “Dongeul” should be attached to stores’ credit card readers. About 400,000 Dongeuls are already in place, the National Tax Service agency said. Cash receipts are issued when consumers enter personal identification number or mobile phone number into credit card readers or payment is made through bank transfer. " |
