Telecoms Korea reports that the fingerprint recognition security function of the LG Electronics handset, rolled out 12th August in the Korean market, turned out to be flawed. "LG Electronics claimed that the function would block persons other than the owner from unlocking the handset or accessing to mobile banking service. However, it turned out to be that anyone who knows password of the handset, regardless of his fingerprint, could unlock the handset. " |
