Bank transfers thanks to SMS passwords
The San Mateo County Times reports on various password security schemes, and one is related to SMS. "In Singapore, bank customers wishing to designate new accounts for fund transfers must obtain a second password -- through a phone call, e-mail or mobile text messaging". And unrelated to text messaging, this article mentions a website, BugMeNot.com which encourages users to share passwords for nonfinancial sites like newspapers (!). |
