Homeland Security report suggests mobile phone blasts

The non-governmental American watchdog group Council for Excellence in Government has released a new report on the work done by the recently-created US Department of Homeland Security, claiming that the agency can and should do more with mobile technology to keep citizens up to date on emergency developments. "The report did not state what sorts of emergency information should be sent to subscribers. To date there have been no terrorism-related emergencies within the United States since the World Trade Center bombing on 11 September 2001".
