Deleted over 3'000 comments yesterday

I was wondering if someone could help me. Yesterday I deleted over 3'000 comments containing what looks like a long string of numbers and semi colons in MT's publishing system, but posted online, comes out as Arab text. And there are dozens of new entries dated today, February 8:

مرحبااااااااا الى احلى ستااااراكاديمي بشااااااار انا اصوووووووت حق بشار وكل الشعب الخليجي وياك وانا احبك يابشااار والله امووووووت فيك

The comments are posted in entries dating back to several months ago last year (in one instance, over 840 messages for one single article) and all come from hotmail adresses, many with arab-sounding names such as osamab@hotmail.com (!), mohammed, faz_444, rammal, aymen99, ama_hn...

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Can someone translate the above copy? Is this spam in arabic? or is Textually.org being used as some sort of message board?

Another things that's very strange, is that I receive an e-mail usually from textually.org when anyone posts a comment, but I don't receive any mail for these posts, I see them in MT publishing tool when I open it.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update

- Just noticed that there were over 100 (false) entries under the "free notifications" category.

- One reader suggests that I'm getting SMS votes intented to reach star academy server (Arabic version). cf Spam on Textually is misdirected Star Academy SMS voting in Arabic
