Cell phones exposing more cheating spouses
In Singapore, nearly nine out of every 10 cases of extramarital affairs are exposed through cellular telephone habits, private investigators and lawyers told the newspaper Streats on Monday and reported by the Khaleej Times. "While SMS messages are admissible as evidence in a divorce suit, lawyers said they only prove a liaison exists, but do not prove adultery". Unfaithful Italians are betrayed by text messaging too, according to a survey conducted by Italy's largest private investigation company. In 87% of the cases involving infidelity, text messaging gives the game away, and mostly during family vacations. |
