Neighbors on Cell Tower Plan: Not in Your Backyard, Either
A Connecticut resident deciding to put up a cellphone tower (as a paid service from the wireless phone company) that is about 10 stories tall in his backyard, irks neighbors, according to a story in the New York Times. Probably not the last of feuding-neighbors-stories we will hear about, as according to Larry McDonnell, a spokesman for Sprint, as people increasingly expect to use mobile phones inside their homes, "the only way to do that is start to have radio antennas close to people's homes." |
