We Hate SMS Ads!
In the "duh-research" category, marketers have finally figured out that mobile users don't like getting commercial messages in SMS, according to a New Media Age story. A survey by media buyer MediaCom North found out that only 13.2 percent of those surveyed would be very happy to communicate with companies via SMS...MediaCom believes the fact that very few people are willing to participate in commercial texting could be due to the bad reputation that spam has given the medium. |
