UK sends 55 million SMS a day in June 2003
Mobile Data Association reports that the total number of text messages sent across the four UK GSM networks in June 2003 averaged 55 Million per day, compared to 45 Million in June 2002 and 30 Million in June 2001. The cumulative total for 2003 is 10 Billion, against a 12 month MDA forecast for the year of 20 Billion, per Telecom Paper. |
