Overview

We provide the ability to receive SMS through Virtual Mobile Numbers. These numbers are normal mobile phone numbers which sit on network operator systems without being allocated to SIM cards. They are specifically designed to receive SMS and their messages are forwarded directly to our SMSC.

They provide high levels of throughput and reliability, are usually fast & easy to set-up and, from the mobile user's point of view, are not surrounded by any pricing confusion (as can sometimes be the case with Short Codes).

We provide Virtual Mobile Numbers through network operators in several countries. Unlike Short Codes, VMNs can also receive SMS on an international level, i.e. from mobile users in other countries:

Access Levels

We provide 3 different access levels to our VMNs:

1. Dedicated: All inbound SMS sent to the number are routed to you.
2. Shared: All inbound SMS beginning with keywords leased by you are routed to you.
3. Reply: All inbound SMS sent in reply to outbound SMS are routed to you.

However, we can also arrange for Virtual SIM Hosting in which you send us the SIM card of an existing GSM mobile phone and we convert it into a VMN so that you are not restricted to the above-mentioned countries.
